Leisure activities on the beach in the warm season will help you fill your days with countless leisure activities. Everybody will find some activity to their liking

1. Lou Moon Eco Luxury Resort

Lou Moon Resort is renowned for its incredibly breath-taking scenery and exceptional hospitality. Set within a natural beach cove, nestled against a backdrop of lush green forests, and overlooking a magnificent bay area with the best sunset view in what is truly a slice of paradise. The jewel of Ghana’s West Coast, Lou Moon Resort features some of the most breath-taking scenery. Surrounded by nature and natural beauty, it creates a tranquil environment perfect to relax and forget about life’s worries.

2. Maaha Beach Resort

Maaha Beach Resort is testament of the Nzema vernacular architecture fused into remarkable scenery provided by the Atlantic Ocean and the vast ecological landscape. The Beach Resort is the perfect getaway for leisure located within the rich oil and gas hub of Ghana, which shares a border with Cote D’Ivoire, and is immersed in Ghana’s diverse culture, historical sites, arts and crafts.

3. Busua Beach Resort

Busua beach is fantastic stretch of sand and clean, warm sea. Locals are super friendly and helpful without being intrusive, just always on hand if you need anything. Lots of great bars dotted along the beach where you can get the days catch cooked fresh.

Busua is overall a bit different from many other places in Ghana. Busua seems to have “grown” into a kind of tourism on a local level. You will find a lot of improvised shops, foods, juice-stands etc. You see more nationalities here than typically around Ghana.

I have visited Busia many times and it’s never exactly the same.

4. Axim Beach Hotel

Axim Beach Hotel is situated on a huge palm covered tropical hillside that overlooks kilometres of deserted beaches. The hotel offers guests the opportunity to experience accommodation with traditional African characteristics in architecture, interior design and decoration. The result ? a palm covered oasis, surrounded by beautiful beaches that has found the balance between the natural environment and the requirements of clientele using a traditional and close to nature design. The hotel recognizes the importance of sustainable tourism industry for Ghana and as such has adopted environmentally friendly practices such as solar hot water and the use of bore water for facilities and where possible using recycled materials. And of course, the traditionally designed buildings employ environmentally friendly construction practices. The hotel employs all local staff, purchases local products and contributes to community projects in the Axim town.

5. Ankobra Beach Resort

Ankobra Beach Resort offers a private beach area. Every guest at the 2-star property can enjoy sea views from the rooms, and has access to a fitness center. The property features one of Ghana's oldest shrines located within its grounds.

At the hotel, all rooms have a wardrobe. A refrigerator and TV can be provided upon request.

The property features a restaurant that prepares dishes with produce from the onsite garden.

Ankobra Beach Resort offers a children's playground. The area is popular for cycling, surfing and fishing.
